There can be few Leeds United fans who haven’t caught the deluge of stories in the press about potential recalls in the January transfer window for on loan trio Jack Clarke (Tottenham Hotspur), Eddie Nketiah (Arsenal) and Ben White (Brighton and Hove Albion).
I’ve maintained all along the only one really likely to return would be our former Academy graduate, simply owing to the lack of game time he’s been given so far from manager Marcelo Bielsa. Nketiah may not have got many starts, but he’s getting minutes and scoring which is what his parent club would want, and White has been a revelation in defence, so short of an offer Brighton can’t turn down, he’ll stay as well.
On the White front, Yorkshire Evening Post journalist Graham Smyth shut down that speculation (he wasn’t alone) by taking to social media to offer.
Leeds United fans can relax.
Sources say there was only one option for a Brighton recall of Ben White and now there's 'no chance' of it happening.https://t.co/VwG8OpCNvk#lufc#bhafc

Fantastic news from our point of view as his game time insulates us from any possible confusion in the New Year, and if there is no other agreement, that natural break point in the deal shouldn’t be an issue.
Like a new signing. But really. #lufc

I think they know he will sell for more at the end of a good season with us (on PL potential) than risk losing value through bringing him into a losing team and perhaps exposing him a bit.
